Unwrapping is not the last step. This brush smooths the surface of the wave without pulling the shape out of it, which is exactly what a regular paddle brush does.
How to use it
Light pressure, long strokes, over the outer layer only. If you brush all the way through, you will end up with volume instead of waves. Sometimes that is what you want.

- In the evening, run the brush from roots to ends a few times to settle the surface.
- In the morning, one pass over the top layer smooths the frizz and leaves the shape alone.
- Pull the loose hair out every few uses and rinse the brush under lukewarm water, then let it dry bristles down.

Will it brush my waves out?
Not if you keep to the outer layer. Brush all the way through and you end up with volume instead of waves. Some mornings that is exactly what you want.
How is it different from a paddle brush?
A paddle brush pulls the shape out of a wave. This one smooths the surface and leaves the shape where it is.
Is it right for fine hair?
Yes. Light pressure is all it needs, and it works gently without tugging.
Can I brush wet hair?
You can, though hair is happiest being brushed when it is only slightly damp.
How do I clean it?
Pull the loose hair out every few uses, rinse under lukewarm water once a week and let it dry bristles down.
